When Good Medicines Become Bad DrugsSM
Approximately six million Americans abuse prescription medicines. But these medicines, when used appropriately, are critical to the health of millions.
To educate people about using these medicines safely and appropriately, Cephalon has expanded its When Good Medicines Become Bad DrugsSM advocacy program to include a resource-rich website and educational materials now available in participating pharmacies across the country.
Cephalon has partnered with the American Chronic Pain Association (APCA) and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) to develop a countertop display along with a patient CARE card, a graphical tool to help patients understand their medicines. These tools are available in participating pharmacies and online at the program website.
