Gemin X Biotechnologies to Present at the 25th Annual JPMorgan Healthcare ConferenceMontréal, Canada – December 21, 2006 – Gemin X Biotechnologies Inc. announced today that Dan Giampuzzi, the Company’s president and chief executive officer, will present an overview of Gemin X’s clinical trial progress with lead product candidate, GX15-070, at the 25th Annual JPMorgan Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, January 9, at 4:30 PM Pacific time at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. GX15-070 is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 trials as a 24-hour infusion every two weeks in the treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma and myelofibrosis with myeloid metaplasia. About GX15-070 Gemin X Biotechnologies Inc. specializes in the discovery and development of novel small-molecule cancer therapeutics based on the regulation of apoptosis, the body’s natural ability to destroy injured or damaged cells. Gemin X’s lead product, GX15-070, is a small molecule, pan-inhibitor of Bcl-2 proteins in Phase 2 clinical trials. Gemin X is also developing a small molecule that induces apoptosis in p53-defective cancers, which is slated for an IND filing at the end of the year.
